Padilla Earns Bronze at The Drum Awards

Padilla has been recognized by The Drum Awards Festival 2024 with a bronze in the Advertising: Online Video Campaign category with the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council.  

Grab a Boost. Americans are inundated by ads for products that promise to give them a boost of some sort. But most of them will either rot your teeth, or, according to prescription drug disclaimers, possibly kill you. And all of them adhere to the same tired advertising tropes of their categories. They’re not just annoying, but they are, just like the products they’re selling, potentially damaging to your well-being. Not so with blueberries. Eating these naturally delicious morsels yields proven health benefits, but without any tradeoffs. So, we borrowed the tropes of all those inferior boosts, and turned them into a smile-inducing series of satirical ads for the world’s most playful fruit.

The agency was also a finalist with Richmond Region Tourism in the Advertising: Travel and Tourism category.  

Speaks for Itself. In the post-pandemic era, consumers had a pent-up desire to travel. Competition for attracting travelers was bolstered by new federal funding provided to destinations to help spur tourism recovery.  Richmond Region Tourism (RRT) tapped us to develop an inspirational campaign to drive tourism and economic development.  We created a first-of-its-kind campaign for RRT, taking inspiration from popular ASMR content on social media—relying more on sights and sounds than voiceover content—to communicate what it's like for visitors to experience the Richmond Region.
