The Diversity Action Alliance (DAA), a coalition of public relations and communications leaders, announced the 2024 G.E.M.S. (Growth in Equity as a Measure of Sustainability) honorees at a ceremony held in New York City.

Fifty individuals from across the U.S. were recognized for elevating leadership, innovation and excellence in communications, significantly contributing to the public relations industry and who identify as racially or ethnically diverse.

Padilla’s vice president of Social Impact, Jeff Wilson, was featured among the 2024 DAA G.E.M.S cohort as a Top Five honoree. He is a member of Padilla’s leadership team within the agency’s Corporate Advisory Group and provides DEI strategic counsel to clients across a variety of industries, as part of the Social Impact Consultancy.

“This year’s G.E.M.S. honorees are shaping the future of communications, breaking barriers and setting new standards for industry leadership and recognition,” said Carmella Glover, President of the DAA. “Their work and presence exemplify the benefits of commitment to equity and belonging that we at the DAA champion every day.”
