Rockwell Automation needed to engage and inspire customers and prospects in new ways for its annual Automation Fair event.
Insight
When the pandemic hit, Rockwell Automation needed to quickly pivot and find a solution to engage attendees for their upcoming annual global Automation Fair. Padilla helped the company continue to engage participants by executing a live, virtual version of the concurrently running in-person event.
Idea
Padilla took the lead on developing the content strategy and script for the virtual Automation Fair event. We also helped create and host live, virtual invite-only press conferences so journalists from around the world could remain engaged during a time when only North American media could travel to the event.
Impact
The virtual event received rave reviews and drew nearly half of the total Automation Fair attendees. Virtual participants represented 71 countries and more than 2,000 companies, compared to the 29 countries and 1,700 companies represented by in-person attendees.
