Padilla President Matt Kucharski Elected to PR Council Board of Directors

Matt Kucharski, president of Padilla, will serve a three-year term as a Board Director of the PR Council. The Council is the only association dedicated to supporting agencies with a core competency in earned media.

Matt joins several new members from agencies of all sizes, geographies, and specialties. Together, the Board is tasked with helping its members—the leaders of 150 of U.S. and Canada’s premier global, mid-size, regional, and specialty firms—work smarter to build more valuable agencies. Programming is focused on the most critical issues affecting PR agency leaders’ ability to attract and retain talent and grow client relationships and their firms.

“This brilliant and collaborative group is already demonstrating their commitment to giving our Member firms a competitive advantage and elevating the entire industry,” said Kim Sample, PR Council president. “This year will present significant opportunities to demonstrate the power of our discipline, and our Board will provide excellent guidance to help grow our firms, talent and client relationships.”

Matt also volunteers his time to several nonprofit and professional associations. He is currently serving as chair of Pheasants Forever/Quail Forever, one of the country’s largest and most respected wildlife conservation organizations, sits on the board of directors of the Greater Twin Cities United Way, and volunteers time as a Business Champion for the Minority Business Growth Alliance. He is an accredited member of the Arthur W. Page Society and the Public Relations Society of America. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Ehlers Companies, an employee-owned public finance company.
