Building Awareness for Employee Mental Health Resources

R3 Continuum helps workforces cope, recover and thrive after traumatic and disruptive events. But many companies are not prepared to support their employees during tragedy. Padilla was tasked to build awareness of R3’s crisis response and behavioral health services.
Insight
Most companies’ EAPs stop short of in-depth trauma counseling. This is where R3 steps in. But R3 can only reach those who need it if company leaders first understand the importance of caring for employee mental health, and the resources available.
Idea
We monitored breaking news to identify journalists covering disruptive events where R3’s expertise could support the real-time coverage. We leveraged business and trade media to position R3 as a leading crisis response and behavioral health partner to EAPs and companies in times of crisis.
Impact
Our public relations strategy raised the profile of R3’s CEO and increased visibility for the company through more than 40 placements, including Newsweek, MPR, HBR, Employee Benefits News, and major affiliate TV stations.
