With brands like Taylor Farms and Fresh Express investing extensive marketing resources to the category versus Dole, we knew we needed a multichannel digital campaign to break through and drive consumer attention and interest.
Idea
Padilla developed an approach to take online users from awareness – using Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels – to the purchase of Dole Buffalo Ranch Salad Kits on Instacart. An upbeat video and bright lightweight motion graphics were created to grab consumers' attention and interest.
Impact
The campaign delivered successful results across all channels: Instacart sales surpassed our goal by more than 50%, Instagram and Facebook beat average CPR by 15% and completed YouTube video views were more than 3.5x our goal.
