Denali needed to raise awareness of its efforts to help municipalities across the U.S. divert food waste.
Insight
Denali’s success working with municipalities to divert food waste from landfills was largely unknown by most consumers. The work Denali does is interesting on its own, but the places and people they do that work for amplifies the "wow" factor and helps people understand their impact on the planet, retail food waste and the circular economy.
Idea
Padilla set out to position Denali within a larger context – leading with stories such as helping the city of Phoenix divert food waste generated from hosting the "Big Game" to helping NYC launch a food composting mandate program with Walmart.
Impact
We built trust and elevated visibility for Denali as the leading and most innovative organic recycler in the U.S. Local and national media coverage helped contextualize their impact and generated positive sentiment among consumers.
